PILOT STATED AS HE INITIATED A DESCENT AT NIGHT 10-12 MILES NE OF ARPT, HE HEARD A LOUD BANG AND FELT A/C SHAKE. BOTH HE AND FLT INSTRUCTOR AGREED THAT THE ENGINE GAUSED AND FLT INSTRUMENTS INDICATED NORMAL OPERATION & NO CHANGES IN FLT CHARACTERISTICS WERE NOTED. UPON LDG, FOUND BLOOD AND FEATHERS ON RT WING AND SUBSTANTIAL DMG TO MAIN SPAR AND LE OF RT WING.
