CLEANING OF BIRD REMAINS FROM THE A/C PROP AND CONDUCTING A VISUAL INSPN OF THE PROP BLADES. SUBSEQUENTLY, MINOR REPAIRS MADE TO THE PROP IN THE FORM OF DRESSING/FILING THE DMGD AREA AND APPLYING PAINT. REPAIRS WERE RELATIVELY MINOR.

WE ATTEMPTED TO MANEUVER TO LAND LONG OVER THE BIRDS BUT BEGAN TO RUN OUT OF AVAILABLE RWY AND PERFORMED A GO AROUND AND CIRCLED TO LAND ON RWY 20, WHICH REQUIRED LANDING WITH A 15 KNOT TAILWIND. ON OUR ROLLOUT TO THE END WE NOTICED THAT ALL THE GEESE HAD RETURNED TO THE THRESHOLD AREA OF RWY 2.

WE IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT THE POWER TO IDLE AND APPLIED MODERATE BRAKE AND BETA TO AVOID THE BIRDS.
