DURING THE ABORT WHILE PASSING THROUGH THE MASS OF BIRDS, A GULL IMPACTED THE PYLON WHICH SUPPORTS THE #2 ENGINE WITH DEBRIS IMPACTING THE FUSELAGE, NACELLE AND ENGINE INLET AREA. IMPACT FOUND ON POSTFLT INSPN OF A/C. MINOR PAINT SCRATCHES OBSERVED IN THE VICINITY OF THE PYLON L/E. NEITHER DMG NOTICED AT TIME OF REPORT. BORESCOPE REVEALED NO DMG.
