Fisherman's Market

Fisherman's Market or Santa Barbara Fish Market is located in Santa Barbara, California near the shoreline. The market has served the community for more than ten years with fresh seafood caught in nearby bays. The market deals only with local commercial fishermen in order to give the public access to this fresh seafood. They only buy the highest quality seafood items to pass on to customers.

Added to the fresh seafood they offer they have sauces and marinades that are homemade. They also sell sushi products, and sashimi grade seafood. Fisherman's Market is at 117 Harbor Way, right on the wharf in Santa Barbara. They are open in the mornings when the fresh seafood catches come in from the sea. It makes the items on display most fresh. They will remain open throughout the day with specials keeping the seafood on ice and most fresh. Depending on the season the seafood available can change. For example in September months the white seabass season begins. The season will only last as long as the Fish and Game department feels there is enough fish to keep catching. The Fish and Game department is in charge of the waters to make sure no over fishing occurs.
