Hollywood Bowl Overlook

Visiting the Hollywood Bowl usually means you are going to have an enjoyable evening surrounded by friendly people who share your interests, and you will be treated to some of the cities most amazing views from the overlook. It is a great place to picnic and enjoy musical performances and classic outdoor theatre. It is the summer home for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, as well as the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Those who want to learn more about the venue can participate in the Bowl Walk around the grounds. The Bowl is located right off of the Hollywood Freeway and parking is limited. There are more than a dozen park and ride locations that offer shuttles to the Bowl, which makes the experience more enjoyable. The Bowl features three seating options, box seats, SuperSeats, and benches. There are no lawn seating option like you might find at many other outdoor concert venues. Visitors can rent seat cushions to make their seating more comfortable. Food and drink can be brought into the venue or you can purchase food from concessions stands or the onsite gourmet restaurant. There are picnic areas across the overlook or you are welcome to bring your food to your seats and eat there. Ticket prices vary from $1 to $200 and packages are available that provide tickets to several events per season.
