Luna Vineyards

The dream of the Luna Vineyards began in 1995, when owners George Vare and Mike Moone first saw the property. They built the winery and planted Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese grapes, an unusual addition to the Napa Valley selection of orchards. They contine to use organic farming methods that are ideal for the region. Their grapes are hand-picked and sorted. The tasting room of the winery features Persian rugs and leather sofas, creating a warm atmosphere that invites you to enjoy the variety of wines. With views of the orchards, elegant crystal stemware, the roaring fireplace, and a friendly atmosphere, guests at the winery have an opportunity to sample wines and enjoy the creations that have taken the time and effort of the winery owners. The Reserve Room is another option for sampling wines in a more casual environment. The room features Italian artwork and a vaulted ceiling. The room can be rented for special events and food can be served with the wines. Wines in the Luna Vineyards collection include Merlots, Pinot Griogios, Cabernet Sauvignons, Chardonnays, Sangioveses, dessert wines, and a variety of seasonal choices. The winery features a wine club that enables members to enjoy hand-picked shipments of wine throughout the year, discount pricing, access to newly released wines and invitations to events at the winery.
