Rombauer Winery

Rombauer Winery is located at Silverado Trail in Napa, Napa Valley, California and is approximately 60 miles from San Francisco. The winery is open daily to members of the public from 10am to 5pm and dogs and children are welcome too. However, the winery remains closed on Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day as well as New Year's Day.

There are several varieties of wines produced here including Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a Napa Valley Zinfandel Port. During normal opening hours classic wine tasting is offered to visitors, where a guide takes them through samples of the wine produced here. Groups of between 6 and 12 guests will need to make a reservation in advance, otherwise visitors are welcome to drop in any time during opening hours.

Cheese and wine pairing are also available by appointment, where guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Mayacamas Mountains. The gardens are very well looked after and visitors are welcome to stroll through them and view over one hundred varieties of plants and flowers. Wine and other gifts such as glasses are available to buy from the winery.
