Equipment components such as doors, seals, hinges, fasteners, and kick plates shall be kept intact, tight, and adjusted in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Replace/reseal sealant for splash guards at 3 compartment sink and food prep sink at splash guard/wall juncture to help maintain sanitation at this juncture.
- Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are dirty.
Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept clean. Thoroughly clean ribbed shelving in prep top units to address dirt/accumulate as discussed.
- Cleaned equipment and utensils, laundered linens, or single-service and single-use articles are not properly stored.
Cleaned equipment and utensils, laundered linens, single-service articles, and single-use articles shall be properly stored as described in this rule. Food storage containers were found stored in a bathroom (not in use) but plumbed accordingly. No foods/food storage containers shall be stored within a bathroom facility due to potential contamination concerns. Relocate storage of containers as discussed.
- Cleaned and sanitized equipment, utensils, laundered linens, or single-service articles or single-use articles were stored in a prohibited area.
Equipment, utensils, laundered linens, or single-service articles or single-use articles may not be stored in the areas specified under this rule where contamination might occur. Observed pots and pans air drying on floor. Floor is not an adequate surface/sanitary surface to allow for cleaned items to be dried/stored. Pots and pans moved to drying rack. Discussed.
- Observed floors, walls, and/or ceilings that were not constructed of approved materials.
