- A label on a food packaged in the RFE or FSO did not contain all required information. Observed mixed nuts with ingredients listed as "assorted nuts"
Foods shall be labeled as specified in this rule. Label should list all nuts in the package, as well as all other ingredients. Avoid generalizing ingredients. List allergens in bold letters, or under ingredients state the allergens that the product contains.
- Equipment is not approved by a recognized testing agency. Facility uses home-style slow cooker for hot holding.
Food equipment that is acceptable for use in a FSO or RFE shall be approved by a recognized food equipment testing agency.
