I know it's long but please READ! Please stay away from this place! Trust me when I say this. They are very friendly until you finish paying your balance and their service sucks! I went back to give my complaints after the event and the man yelled at my mom and told us that they don't give money back and that our complaints were useless! I went back to give him a chance to fix it... even an apology would've sufficed. He violated the contract and my party could've been shut down had TABC walked in because there was no security and alcohol was being served. He said that the customers don't pay security... they do. Really? And whom do you get your money from? I'll start from the very beginning. We paid these people over $6000 for food, a BUTTER CREAM cake, and I paid for 30 more plates for a total of 130. I paid $300 extra for "professional waiters with the same attire"... all I got were three girls BADLY dressed with bad attitudes.They treated my guests terribly and made them feel like a burden! They assured me over and over again my guests did not have to stand to get their food or drinks... they were wrong! I also paid $200 more for "glassware" for the reception. I had a glass plate on a plastic charger... and a plastic cup. I called on Friday to confirm I had 130 plates and the owner (wife) TOLD ME, not ASKED, to take her champagne colored napkins for the PLASTIC cup. When I told her no, she was shocked! I'm the bride and had tons of things to do and she proceeded to tell me I could SEND someone else with the napkins and that they were only a $1 at the Dollar Tree and only needed 5 packs! We paid over $6000 and they couldn't pay $5.41 including tax for napkins when I had paid $200 + $45 extra due to the extra 30 plates for dinnerware they already own?! I had a band and a DJ was included in the contract.. the owner told me the DJ HAD TO be the Master of Ceremony and he sucked! The owner told my husband that since we had a band, the DJ didn't have to do anything... when he had specifically told me the DJ HAD TO be the Master of Ceremony. My husband walked in on him three times and all three times he was asleep. When the band went in to set up, the people from the band had to move the main table that WE COULDN'T SIT AT LATER AT NIGHT BECAUSE IT'S ONLY FOR DECORATION. My husband and I were bouncing from table to table. They were not prepared AT ALL. The food was COLD and gross... and the girls were SO SLOW, my mom was helping them serve. Of course, the man said we were probably asking them to run... we weren't. I was also shorted plates... the 30 "extra" plates I paid for. My guests told me the waitresses took all my wedding favors on their cart... and kept them. My guests thought they were going to box them for me... they didn't. So GLAD I didn't leave ALL the liquor bottles because those would've been gone too. The cake ended up with a nasty whipped cream frosting... after I cut the cake, they asked my mom for plates. Really? You include a cake in your package and they don't provide plates or napkins? The front of the place was FILTHY. Cigarette butts everywhere! The bathrooms hadn't been cleaned. My mom had gone in earlier in the morning with my husband and ALL the linens were wrinkled and dirty from the night before. My father-in-law sat on gum and my husband was pulling gums from linens. The table tops and chair bows were extremely wrinkled and FILTHY. The contract said we were to have two bottles of champagne for the toast... the lady proudly showed my husband CIDER. They probably saved the ones from the quince the night before. My husband said it's a wedding and we need champagne and told them they needed to change the wording on the contract! The wife is ALWAYS trying to upsell the margarita machine... every month we went to pay and even the night of the wedding! She was giving it to me at a "discounted rate" of $80 because it was from the night before! It was old and watered down! My guests also said the beer was flat... the package comes with two kegs... I'm sure they had leftovers from the night before! They have parties Friday nights and don't set up the hall as nice as they can for Saturday! I honestly don't know how this place is still in business! They have no customer service and don't listen to their customers! He kept interrupting me and my mom and my husband with excuses, excuses, and more excuses! We're a very simple family... we don't ask for much but my husband paid for a better service. The owner even said that he doesn't charge as much but that's what we get for paying "so little"... so essentially saying that's the service he gives for the price you pay! And because I didn't get the slighest hint of an apology, I want everyone to know how bad their service was!
