Hi,

What has helped you heal an UTI?
I had a colonoscopy and that evening started having UTI symptoms. I already had an antibiotic shot at the ER (blood in urine), followed by 5 days of Bactrim (antibiotic pill), also took D-Mannose and probiotics. Recently bought a bottle of probiotics for lady parts.
I am done with the antibiotics and still don't feel 100% (still have burning). Called my OB and they said they will retest the urine after 2 wks!

Tell your physician that the Trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole did not appear to work. Ask for another test ASAP. If they prescribe a different antibiotic, take it but lay off the OTC stuff while on the RX antibiotics!
