I'm going for CB Bucknor and Angel Hernandez. They are just awful. As a matter of fact, Buckner, what replay shows that the last batter clearly struck out in Atlanta, called it a foul ball back in April. Bob Davidson was pretty bad too.
Plus the thing about Angel Hernandez he always tries to screw calls up. For example, in 2013, Adam Rosales of the Oakland A's hits a flyball to left field which hit the poll. Replay shows that the ball hit the fence but Hernandez still gave Rosales a double which prompted Bob Melvin to argue and he would be ejected and it cost the A's the game.
I have to disagree with John Hirschbeck. Hirschbeck, like Jim Joyce, was a good umpire for most of the time. It's Hernandez that gets the top of the heap IMO. Besides, you can't seriously say that Joyce was one of the worst umpires. His infamous blown call broke up Armando Gallaragga's perfect game and Joyce acknowledged it but MLB commissioner Bud Selig upheld the call.
I'm also going for Phil Cuzzi and Laz Diaz. They are just as bad as Hernandez and Bucknor are. Cuzzi blew a call in 2009 ALCS where Joe Mauer hits a flyball the opposite field and hits it fair but Cuzzi called it foul and replay indicates that the ball clearly landed in fair territory.
Hernandez was back in the spot/lowlight again last night (9/28).
He blew a pretty obvious check swing call (on Bryce Harper). An understandably aggravated Harper, starts walking & barking in Hernandez's direction and gets tossed from the game.

I watched the clip. Hernandez is simply incompetent. There's no way that he could have been paying attention (unless he had money on the game). It wasn't even close. We all know that MLB can't fire him. It would be "racism" and not the fact the he's consistently a boob.
