Thanks for your comments about Grassy Creek! I have another neighborhood to ask about. What do you think of Hibben in Belle Hall? Is it worth the extra money over the other neighborhoods in Belle Hall like Veranda, etc.?

Hibben stands out in its design, doesn't it? I do like that particular part of Belle Hall over all others.

I'm adding to an old thread about Hibben rather than adding to a new one.

We fell in love with Belle Hall, and Hibben specifically when neighborhood shopping earlier this year. Is everything stable there currently or are there problems? I've noticed that there's about 5 or 6 homes on one street that are all currently on the market. These aren't new builds being sold by the developers, all are within the last 10yrs so it could be coincidence but I'm wondering if there's another problem that a casual observer might not be aware of.

It's exciting to see many properties for consideration, but they are all in such close proximity that it has me wondering.

I just moved to Hibben last year and there are no problems that I know of that would cause someone to move. The reasons I see that most move are that they got a job somewhere else or their job is being transferred. I have also talked with several neighbors that moved to a different house in Hibben. I don't know of anyone that has moved from Hibben to another part of Mt. Pleasant, although I'm sure it's happened. Hibben is very family oriented and the location is great, which are the reasons we chose it.

Thanks, that's good to know and hope any others chime in.

We currently live in a really hot real estate market, so I'm used to there being lots of movement. But having a large number of houses in a 2 block stretch all for sale at once almost seems like a red flag. Hopefully that's not the case!

Hibben is super hot. Homes in there are going in less than a week so be prepared to offer quickly if you find one you like.
