I’m thinking about moving my family out towards the cottageville area. We’re trying to get away from the sprawl out here on Johns Island. My main concern is I just don’t know folks out that way, and I’m most worried about crime in the area. It looks like there isn’t a lot of violent crime, more like property theft. Still not great, but I feel like that everywhere. Can anyone give me any idea on whether or not it’s safe out that way. For reference, I’ll be about 10 minutes directly north of the actual city of cottageville. Compared to Johns island, is it about the same from a safety perspective, better, or worse? Thanks for any and all feedback.
