I'm heading to Colorado Springs in a few weeks and I love beer. Looking to get some recommendations on best breweries, specifically who do Hazy IPAs well. I can see ratings on Google of course, but hard to tell which breweries do Hazy IPAs specifically. I'm looking for breweries that usually have a few on tap and do them well. I like breweries that mix it up and experiment often as well.

Same thing if anyone happens to know of any in the Denver/Boulder/Estes Park area as I'll be heading there as well.

If you get no replies here then I suggest a google maps search on 'brewpubs' and check their on-tap menu.

Goat Patch Brewers won some sort of champion thing for their Hazy IPA:

Here's a good brewhouse I've been too but their Double Hazy IPA (10% ABV) is only available in January.

I second the Goat Patch recommendation. Their hazy is excellent. In general, we have a lot of pretty good breweries but no truly great ones.

If weather is nice, Red Leg is an incredible atmosphere. It's huge and outside. I think their beer is okay, and they do have a serviceable hazy. Trinity also has good beer. Cerberus is popular and is close to downtown and has a neat environment. I have heard good things about Metric but haven't been.

I know the founder of Trinity Brewing. He went to my high school. His dad was a science teacher and the head football coach back in the day. He tapped out (pun intended) and sold the biz a few years ago.

Might also wanna check out the craft distilling scene. Distillery 291 has some pricy small batch whiskies. I've had their American whiskey. It was good.

If they make one good hazy, they probably make others as well. Will check them out.
