I'm going to post a good news story each and every day.

Cop Spends His Last Day On The Job Handing Out Gift Cards To Strangers

What a great story about how a police officer spent his last day and paycheck on those in need.

Due to popular demand, here is article #2. This is a really cool story about how a kid can finally put on his own shoes for the first time due to a shoe he designed, along with Nike. Very cool on Nike's part as well.

Really nice story about the cop and very impressive young man.

Keep posting these, please. And I hope others will let you know how much they appreciate a thread like this. I know I do.

Oh, my gosh -- this is the BEST story!! Tears and a lump in my throat. If you Google it, you will see that they are reasonably priced ($130), considering what they are. There are some good suggestions being made to improve them, and I hope Nike will take the suggestions being offered, but WOW -- such a GREAT story!!

Thank you, Mr. Geek, too for brightening my day! I wish everyone would be as "geeky" as you!

I try to stop at kids lemonade stands whenever I see them so I liked this story about a bus driver, some passengers, and a lemonade stand.
