Wild Boar Fountain in The Plaza (Country Club: club, malls, donated)

Hi all,

Still doing some some research on Country Club Plaza and need to know how coins were dropped into the Wild Boar Fountain on 47th and Wornall.

In Florence, people used to put the coins in the Boar's mouth.

I am looking for how people donated coins in the late 1970s.

When you donated a coin, was it placed in the Boar's mouth or dropped into a slot or just into water? I remember the days at the malls where we just tossed coins into the fountains to make a wish.

How was it stored and then later collected?
