One area we are looking at as a possible move to is Kingston. I have read some facts about this area but looking for anyone who may have more on the street information.

Would this be a good place for quiet and lots of nature there? Hiking, boating etc. Is there a lot population or building of homes booming in this area?

Looking for a quiet area since my wife and I are retired. Any other nice areas around Kingston?

Thanks

I don't live in Kingston but you might want to read this:

Here's a photo I took there one year:

If you haven't already do a Kingston TN search on Google Images. There are plenty of photos. I just checked. Also, there are a few YouTube videos on Kingston TN including one that takes you on a drive through the downtown and residential areas.

Haven't been in the main part of town in a few years. Don't know anyone who lives there.

You might want to check out Fairfield Glade. It's north of Crossville, which is further west of Kingston, but it's a popular community with retirees. It has golf and some small lakes, and community amenities. I've been there and it's very nice and quiet. I don't know much about Kingston, I just drive past it on the highway and have never turned off there.

Watts Bar Lake is nice. I enjoy walking along the waters edge on the paved pathways. As for true hiking, I don't know how much there is.
