CNN is hitting some real sorry numbers.

CNN plunges behind History Channel, obscure Western network in prime time ratings (msn.com)
Quote:
had an average of 538,000 nightly viewers in the 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. block

That remind of a older thread I saw on City-Data forums where it was mentioned then CNN was beaten in the ratings by reruns of Full House, Friends and Yogi Bear.

I've not really watched CNN since the Gulf Wars. They did a good reporting job then. Now they're approaching the degree of biased reporting and opinions of MSNBC.

I don't watch CNN, MSNBC, FOX news, they all have their own biases. I'll watch my local station news for local news, and will look up anything else interesting nationally or in another state. We watch the History channel often, like Skinwalker Ranch, Oak Island, The Unbelievable, The Unexplained, even American Pickers before they got rid of Frank and added Robbie & Jersey.

Some of this is the way Americans now consume their news/current events ( mostly through social media)

Some of this is that CNN doesn't really have a Tucker Carlson/Rachel Maddow type juggernaut that can draw in viewers all by themselves

Part of this is several outlets all fighting for the exact same theme/narrative ( i.e. Trump Bad) There's nothing to differentiate them.

Much of this is openly demonizing half the country non stop. You tell people you don't their attention, business or engagement, so they give you exactly that.

Guess all those push by Google not helping them. Also on many of the recent movies still acting, the new is on "CNN" (must be big).

Because, like the dems, they all lie.

Link above from MSNBC. Joy Reid says postitive things about Biden on the news but when she thinks she if off the mic she says "Yeah, by starting another f_ing war"

Sounds like she doesn't think much of Biden either.

538,000 viewers and shrinking in PRIME TIME?

Those are abysmal numbers. CNN cannot survive much longer, given how much they are paying their talent. Of course, no company in their right mind would want to advertise on CNN. Even CNN+, with their 8,400 daily viewers before they shut the door, thinks this is embarrassing.

CNN might as well buy the name I just trademarked for them: Can't Nobody Notice.
