I have job at Milwaukee downtown but is open to any property (House, Condo, Duplex, Townhouse or apartment) that allows German Shepherd and does not have "two pets limit". I am willing to commute everyday. So Waukesha, New Berlin or White Fish Bay etc are all okay for me. I am having a very hard time to find any property that allows German Shepherd. I would greatly appreciate your help or point a direction.

Thank you!

Be very careful with your dogs.......many of them get lost during moving time, due to the strange territory.

Clayton park townhouses in Glendale would be ok, but they are full most of the time. Bay Village apartments on Santa Monica (WFB) calls themselves dog-friendly (not sure if they are ok with Germans though) - and no one counts cats really. I heard Bay Colony (on Fairmount) changed it’s policy and started to allow dogs as well.

Or rent a house anywhere, most house owners willing to rent their houses would be ok with dogs and cats.

It's not just a place that allows dogs. German Shepards are flagged for homeowners insurance. I have a friend who is a Rottweiler breeder (also one of the "dangerous breeds"). There are very very few places that will sell her insurance, and it's very expensive. Landlords will likely be stuck with this extra expense and have to charge more to offset, and many won't bother dealing with it.

Our landlord requires "renter's insurance" covering up to 100K of liability as a condition to lease. Either have it, or move on. And Progressive asked me about "dangerous breeds", the list is quite long TBH, with GSD and rotts there for sure.
