I need to drive this route Wednesday and wondering if I will have to drive up mountains? I really don’t want to. Also is it slick right now on this drive? Thanks so much!

No mountains. Prairie ground, a few hills but that's about it.
Right now the roads are clear and pretty dry. Unless we get a storm today, you should be good to go.

It was quite icy yesterday with blowing snow. I94 follows the river & that results in days with some fog and ice. Put the travel map app for this site on your phone.

Thank You. Your link really helped me prepare for what was up ahead. It was a fairly easy drive, only sometimes you could see some ice but nothing to fret about. However, once got to Sidney it got really really foggy and really bad visibility. Since I had to still pass Sidney a bit, that short 45 minutes past Sidney was worse than the whole 4 hour drive from Billings. Hopefully I will not have to drive this far in winter again!
