Very nice! lol, was going to start a thread 'butterflies' but did a search and found this here

Here are a few from last year, a butterfly sipping in back yard bushes and a moth on the front landing...

lol,,, that freakish bug on the concrete, I believe [I'm no expert, but also really enjoy watching these critters flutter about] is a Royal Walnut Moth (Citheronia regalis). And the butterfly, again I think is a Appalachian Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio appalachiensis)...

The *freakish bug* ...I looked up that name that you said it could be ^^^...it does look like what it is!...cool!...thanks!!
I showed that pic when I first took it, to my friends that lived in MO and no one could tell me what it was ...now I can tell them!

I really miss Missouri for that fact of all the interesting flying critters...skeeters, I could live without though...
