I know. When one is looking to buy a place, the advice is to ignore how the current owner has decorated. Still...there are those who can't ignore such things:

This is a condo for sale. I will say the place looks clean. But...the color scheme. A shot of one of the closets shows the color scheme extends to all the clothing, too.

Lots of people find white soothing. The good news is that it is easy to paint over that color if you want color.

Yes, I have. Are those walls white or a shade of light gray? I personally prefer some contrast, but to each their own. I've seen much worse.

I’d much prefer moving into a place like this than a place with bright or dark colored wals.

Better than black or midnight blue walls - or dark purple, etc. I've seen plenty of those

Easy to accent with pops of color or paint over with some color, maybe just a wall here or there. You wouldn't need more than one coat of paint for your example.

Personal taste is just that - personal.

Yes, it's true about personal preferences. However, I've noticed that some people, when looking for a place to buy can't seem to get past that.

So true. At least with white walls, it's much easier to change the color scheme.

White doesn't bother buyers the way that super bright or really dark colors, like black do.

What color scheme? There is no color scheme.

I would never decorate my house like this, it would make me feel like I couldn't even sit on my own furniture or touch anything. But when we bought our house, it had been a foreclosure and the bank had everything freshly painted white. I didn't love the white walls, but when we found a few tiny missed spots that showed what the colors HAD been (one bedroom was purple, one was acid green), I was just as glad for white.

We've since adjusted it to our taste. As already stated, white is easy to paint over.
