Thinking about retiring to Fernley, NV. It appears that Fernley doesn't have 24 hour medical care available. I also don't see anything about emergency transportation to Sparks, NV. etc. Would appreciate some information!!

It looks like EMT/ambulance services for Fernley are provided by Lyon County. See:
https://cityoffernley.org/164/Ambulance-Fire . There are also local senior transportation services for medical appointments provided by the county. If you visit Fernley, stop into the Senior Center and ask about this. We've found Senior Centers are usually could sources of info for retirees interested in an area. Ive only driven through Fernley once some years ago, but it looked like a really nice community. Good luck with your retirement plans!
