Just purchased it yesterday.
Made a fantasy pool with all the current players, plus ONE retiree- Shaquille O'Neal.
My Bulls had the 1st draft pick, and I got him.

Looks like you are the only one here who plays NBA video game. I could never get into it. Maybe its because I am not a fan of basketball, but these NBA games just seem as unplayable as the soccer games.

I did like the NBA Street game from the 80s-90s (can remember which decade). The one where the ball would catch on fire and you'd hear the announcer say things like "Boom shaka laka".

I haven't played NBA Street, but I've played NBA Jam and NBA Live, followed by the 2K games.
But I really only like the realistic games, and 2K is far ahead of the pack in that way.

There's a mode in NBA 2K24 where there stats and results all mirror the real life stats and results occurring in real time, except for the team you are playing with.
Its only available of course when the season begins (October 18th), and I'm going to play that.

Correction, the season begins October 24th. So that's when the "real life" mode begins.
