I'm asking as a single guy in his 30s. I hear everyone marries young in KS, so wondering how bad it actually is. Another consideration is that I'm a brown-skinned guy and I get mixed reports on the racism within Wichita. So I wanted to ask the people actually living there how the situation is, dating wise. I'll also add that I'm a person that would be looking more for a relationship than just casual hookups, as people are generally one of two types of daters in that regard.

The dating scene here in Wichita is not good for us. Most people do marry young and everyone here sticks with their own kind.

All the women here only date White men. They are not open to dating men of color like myself. I don't know of any area where more singles hang out here in the Wichita area.

I think it is racist. Unfortunately I only see White women with White guys everywhere I go. I just feel that people here are not into trying new things.
