Complaint #CO0029771
Complaint stated that one of the employees touched another employees hair with gloves on and did not wash his hands and change his gloves afterwards. Also, an employee assembling burritos left her work station to go get more to-go containers. Upon returning, she did not wash her hands before she continued to assemble burritos.
At the time of inspection, hand washing violations were observed, of the exact nature the complaint had detailed.
Discussed with PIC the importance of hand washing and proper sanitary practices.
Will return in two weeks to ensure that hand washing is being exercised at the appropriate times and for the appropriate duration.

-Observed employees washing hands when required to do so.
-All TCS items being hot/cold held were within the allowable temperature ranges
-Date marking is now being used correctly
-All sanitizer buckets within approprate concentration
-All wiping cloths are being stored in sanitizer
NCFA- NO CAUSE FOR FURTHER ACTION

Note: Observed bag of beef that was opened during transport and leaking through the box. PIC stated opened product would not have been sold. PIC voluntarily discarded the product at time of inspection. Must ensure to always check the integrity of all packages when receiving.

During complaint investigation I completed a standard inspection. During inspection I observed employees properly changing gloves when changing tasks. I did observe a line employee change gloves without washing hands between. The violation was immediately discussed with the employee and employee washed hands and put on new gloves at time of inspection. PIC stated she was aware of the situation that occurred when someone handled the trash and then the food. She stated as soon as she found out all the food the employee handled was immediately discarded. She explained all of the proper hand washing procedures along with proper hair restraining methods. She stated they will pay close attention to all employees hand washing procedures. No cause for further action. Complaint closed.
