I. Employee Health (+) Discussed and viewed employee illness policy; all employees must sign off on policy.
Management is aware and has policy regarding handling employee health situations. Visible or known symptoms/or known diagnoses are addressed according to Ohio Administrative Code.
III. Handwashing, Prevention of Contamination from Hands (+) Hand washing sinks properly stocked. Employees properly washing hands and utilizing gloves.
Handwashing facilities are adequate, conveniently located and accessible for employees. Handwashing facilities are properly supplied. Hands are properly washed when required. Exposed ready-to-eat foods are not touched by bare hands.
IV. Person In Charge/Demonstration of Knowledge (+) PIC answered questions effectively.
Person In Charge demonstrates knowledge with one of the following: manager certified in food protection, code compliance, or responses to food safety questions regarding the operation.

CO0030542: IHOP RESTAURANT-CALLER REPORTS THAT ON 2/18TH SHE SAW A COUPLE OF ROACHES CRAWLING UP THE WALL OF THE EATING AREA.

At time of inspection, no cockroaches were found. Per PIC; issue was brought to attention at time of complainant's visit to facility. Insects seen by complainant were not roaches.
Facility is currently utilizing a pest control agency on a regular basis. Laid pest traps are visible throughout facility. No dead insects were observed in traps.
Following inspection, complaint closed; no further investigation necessary.
