Like its neighbor, Sun City West, now owned by Pulte Homes, is self-contained, with dozens of shops, banks, restaurants, several golf courses, 4 recreation centers, and a hospital. In the same vein, it mandates that at least one member of a household be age 55 or older. Sun City West also has a Sheriff’s Posse to keep crime down and a Prides volunteer organization to keep neighborhoods tidy. It calls itself “Flag City U.S.A.” owing to the hundreds of American flags lining the major thoroughfare, R.H.
