Description: Located just outside Boulder County, this airfield is nonetheless used by many Boulderites. No scheduled commercial passenger flights leave this airport, but it has plenty of general aviation in addition to flight schools, avionics, repair and maintenance shops, charter services and conference facilities. In addition, there are two restaurants open to the public in its modern 25,000 sq. ft. terminal building.

Description: Eagle has an 18-hole course, driving range, putting green, bar, pro shop, and rentals. The par is 35 or 36 (depending on what tees you’re playing from) on the 9-hole layout and 71 on the 18-hole course. See their Web site for fee details.

Description: This is the place for innovative, unpretentious cuisine. Begin with an appetizer such as roasted portobello mushrooms, bacon-wrapped prawns, or jumbo lump-crab cakes. Description: Hot lunch is served weekdays and a sunset dinner is scheduled monthly at this center, which is located in the same building as the Broomfield Recreation Center. Fitness classes are available on-site, and arts and crafts classes also are offered.

Description: With a six-lane pool and typical amenities, this center is very popular. It is open Monday and Wednesday 5:30 a.m. until 9 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Sunday. Admission for resident adults ED: price for nonresident? is $3.50; seniors pay $2.75, teens (13-17) pay $2.75, and kids (4-12) are charged $2.50 per visit. Non-resident fees are $4.50 for adults, $3.75 for seniors, $3.75 for teens, and $3.50 for kids. Annual passes are available. The outdoor aquatics park is a real summertime treat. The aquatics park is open during the summer only.
