Description: This center offers 105 kilometers of great groomed trails for beginners to advanced cross-country skiers. There are flat trails for beginners and smooth wide lanes for ski-skaters plus lovely rolling meadows and some steep downhills for thrills. A trail pass is $18 for adults. Seniors older than age 60 and kids under 12 are $8.

Description: This is a quiet, beautifully located retreat ski lodge open year-round. It is equally nice for cross-country skiing on 100 kilometers of track in the winter and horseback riding, hiking, fly fishing, and mountain biking in the summer. Cabin rentals are consistent for both summer and winter months. Three miles north of Fraser (before the bridge entering Tabernash), turn east (right) off US 40 onto County Road 83; after another 3 miles take the right fork in the road. Rates range from $315 to $895 per night.
