Description: This is the place to get fresh breads, rolls, pastries, donuts, danishes, cakes, cookies, and pies in the Naugatuck Valley. They make cookie trays delivered to your door, and the best rye bread for miles around. They actually serve coffee in the morning as well, and could just as easily fit into the breakfast & lunch category in the restaurants section, because so many people stop here in the morning. But their breads are also used by dozens of local businesses, especially their fine Portuguese rolls. Eddy’s has been in business for almost 50 years and is a classic Italian bakery, but they also make the best Eastern European babokva around. Don’t worry about that incongruity, just taste.
