Description: Built in 1983, this motel has 154 rooms with one queen-bed and one single. There’s a small charge for more than three people in a room. It’s only a mile from the beach, and it’s situated right off I-95 so you’re only 15 minutes from downtown West Palm Beach and about the same from Boca Raton. Nearby attractions include the West Palm Beach Zoo and the South Florida Science Museum, which also has an excellent planetarium with interesting overhead star-shows. There’s a pool, a coin laundry, and wireless Internet, along with plenty of places to eat in the surrounding area. Lantana is very much a beach community, and the road to the beach is lined with funky shops and eateries.
