Description: Captain Scott Reynolds has been taking large groups deep-sea fishing for more than 25 years. His new, custom-built, 70-foot, deep-sea fishing boat, the Majesty, can hold up to 40 anglers and travels at speeds up to 25 knots. Reynolds, who has recently upgraded his gear to include the latest high-speed reels and 7-foot custom Ugly Stick rods, departs from Monty’s Marina in Mayport, takes you 15 to 30 miles offshore, and supplies you with a rod, reel, bait, and fishing license. The Majesty has a large, comfortable cabin and a snack bar, or you can bring your own munchies along with you. Non-fishers can come along for the ride for only $30. Charter prices vary, but are consistently reasonable. Reservations required.

Description: Captain George Strate has some 30 years’ experience taking large groups of anglers deep-sea fishing. Captain Strate knows these waters like the back of his hand, including hundreds of the best fishing spots for the current water and weather conditions. He will supply you with a rod, reel, bait, and fishing license. The Mayport Princess, however, does not have a galley, so if you want anything to eat or drink while out on the water, bring a cooler. The Mayport Princess sails daily, year-round. Prices vary, and reservations are required.
