Description: The 239 rooms in this Singer Island resort are all suites because this is a condominium hotel. The units are all privately owned, but managed by Marriott, which acquired the property in 2009. Both the facility and the service have already been improved by the Marriott brand. All of these one- and two-bedroom units have separate living rooms, and many have ocean or Intracoastal views. Each has stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and flat-screen TVs. They’re inviting and airy, with comfortable modern furniture, light-colored pastel walls, and eclectic pieces of art. Each one has a coffeemaker, microwave, private bath, fully equipped kitchen, iron/ironing board, and a complimentary USA Today each morning.Outside is a beautiful beach and a multi-faceted resort, and a hundred ways to enjoy them. There’s a spa that will caress your senses as well as your soul, a gift shop, a complete business center, a fitness center, two swimming pools, a whirlpool, and a Kid’s Club. Nearby are three golf courses, hiking and biking trails, kayaking, sailing, fishing, a nature trail, scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, and tennis. If you’re here to frolic, you’ve got the whole Atlantic Ocean right in front of you. And if you’re here to do business, there are 12 meeting rooms of various sizes, and also the Outdoor Terrace for larger events.The Marriott has two dining choices. Description: Built in 2007, this hotel really gives you room to stretch with 239 luxury one- and two-bedroom condos with full kitchens, living rooms, and washer/dryers, along with coffeemakers, microwaves, and iron/ironing boards. The views of the Intracoastal or the Atlantic are often spectacular. And there’s a real coral reef sticking out into the ocean. The Marriott has two pools and plenty of oceanfront activities. Si Spa is an elegant, quiet hideaway, where you can get pampered from head to toe. The fitness center has a nice variety of equipment and machines. There’s a full-service business center. Solu is the signature restaurant here; it has great seafood, chops, and steaks and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can enjoy casual American and island cuisine for lunch at The Lagoon Grill. There are three golf clubs nearby, and tons of water-recreation choices all along the beach.
