Description: Some of the best gourmet-food producers and vintners in the world come to Boca for this event. Held in mid Mar, this three-day weekend of true elegance and wonderful new taste sensations requires advance-purchase tickets.On Fri night, dinners take place at magnificent private homes in the Boca area, with white-glove service and samples of many different foods and wines. The conversation is convivial, the ambience is warm, and you’re all there because you have a love of distinctive food and wine. On Sat evening at Boca Raton Resort & Club (501 East Camino Real) there are presentations by numerous producers, chefs, and winemakers, and you’ll leave the event a much more knowledgeable person than when you walked in. You’ll get to sample the foods, of course. And there’s also a silent auction. On Sun things are a bit more informal with an outdoor festival at the Center for the Arts in Mizner Park in downtown Boca Raton. There will be nearly 150 wines for tasting, along with the specialties of some of the area’s best restaurants.
