Description: Located 35 miles south of St. Louis, the Corner George Inn was originally built as a hotel and saloon in 1884. Today, the restored bed-and-breakfast consists of four buildings, including the original inn, summer kitchen, and two rock houses. There are sitting rooms on both floors of the inn, as well as a wine cellar and an elegant ballroom that serves as a common area for guests and the breakfast dining area. There are seven guest rooms, each with a private bath, and the inn is furnished with antiques. Bicycle rental and horse-drawn carriage rides in the country are available upon request.
