Description: Experience “a little slice of heaven” while playing the majestic Annbriar Golf Course, which features a unique blend of open, links-style terrain on the scenic front nine and wooded rolling terrain on the back nine. The 603-yard 18th hole is a superb finishing hole, with fairway bunkers, a divided fairway, and a deep green with a swale in the middle. Annbriar’s precision-placed tee boxes, rolling fairways and lush greens led Golf Digest to rate the facility as one of the country’s “Top 500 Places to Play,” and its 4.5 star rating ranks it as 7th in the state. Proper course attire is required, and the course allows soft spikes only. Tennis shoes are permitted, or the pro shop personnel will gladly change metal spikes for a fee.
