Description: Opened in 2003, Peyton Manning’s Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent offers a full range of pediatric services and state-of-the-art facilities to patients from newborns to teens. The facility was thoughtfully designed for children in a whimsical space that is kid-size and child-friendly. The hospital has grown to 46 private inpatient beds, 15 beds in the Pediatric Intensive Care unit, 85 beds in the Newborn Intensive Care unit, and 18 beds in the Hilbert Pediatric Emergency Department, the first pediatric emergency room in the state. The hospital also offers 24-hour physician coverage by pediatric intensivists, neonatologists, emergency doctors, and nursing staff. Named for the Colt’s Super Bowl winning quarterback and his generous support, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital specializes in treating children with complex, chronic, or congenital conditions.
