Description: Founded in 1914 in Beech Grove by the Order of the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration, St. Francis Hospital started with just 75 patient beds. The hospital was founded on the belief that human needs should be met in a holistic manner. As one of the largest health care systems in Indiana, St. Francis operates three main facilities in Beech Grove, Indianapolis, and Mooresville.
