Description: Located 1 block south of Circle Centre, Crackers has been the place for comedy in Indy since 1980. Offering hilarious stand-up comedy, Crackers boasts quite an alumni list of comedians who have graced the stage—Tim Allen, Drew Carey, Ellen DeGeneres, Jeff Foxworthy, Brad Garrett, Rosie O’Donnell, Jay Leno, Larry the Cable Guy, Dennis Miller, Chris Rock, and Ray Romano. Crackers, which is wheelchair accessible, accepts reservations even after 4 p.m. Reservations are good for up to 10 minutes before showtime. Crackers does not mail tickets; they are held for you at the club. Specials include Ladies Night on Wednesday when admission for women is free (reservations required). Thursdays are College ID Night, with $5 admission for college students (reservations required). Crackers offers a full bar and good appetizer menu. For frozen drinks, consider a Dirty Banana—banana, ice cream, rum, Frangelico, and dark crème de cacao; or a Frozen Alligator—a piña colada with ice cream and Midori Melon Liqueur. For munchies, order Bobeck’s BBQ Pork—a sub-size bun filled with tender, tangy shredded pork—or the Louis CK Chicken Dilla—a large tortilla with mozzarella cheese and southwest chicken strips, served with salsa, sour cream, and jalapeños.
