Description: Since 1979, United Senior Action of Indiana has been uniting older Hoosiers into a powerful voice to impact policies affecting senior citizens’ lives and communities. United Senior Action is an Indiana-based organization with officers, volunteers, and operations located in Indiana. The group works on issues such as nursing home quality and reform; alternatives to nursing homes, including home and community-based care; utility and telephone rates; prescription drug prices; and more. Members get as involved as they choose—from writing letters and participating in public meetings to walking the halls of the State Capitol. Membership dues are $15 for an individual, $20 for a couple. If your senior club is a group member of United Senior Action, dues are $8 for an individual, $10 for a couple.
