Description: From the end of Sept through Nov, become lost in an elaborate maze cut through a large corn field. Each year the pattern changes to keep the locals on their toes. The farm is north of Shreveport; take US 71 and turn left onto Sentell Road. While closed Mon through Thurs, the farm is open for school, church, and group tours by appointment. Decide if you want the super-haunted or non-haunted maze experience, then either call or check the Web site for the appropriate dates and times. You might also want to take a hayride and pick out a Halloween pumpkin still growing in the fields. Various themed events held throughout the season. Other activities include the Crop Hopper inflatable jumping platform, the barn rope swing, and pig races (NOTE: pigs can run fast). Open Sept and Oct on Fri from 4 p.m. to midnight, Sat from 10 a.m. to midnight, and Sun 10 a.m. until dark. In Nov, closing hours on Fri become 10 p.m., and Sat the maze closes at 9 p.m. The last person will be admitted one hour before closing, so come early and beat the crowds.
