Description: If you are in the area during June and July, come pick some delicious blueberries. With 93 acres of producing bushes and another 48 acres recently planted, the farm has plenty of berries to go around. Adults will receive a bucket with a plastic liner for their picking adventure, while children under 12 will receive a souvenir bucket with a lid that they can fill with deliciousness. It can become hot in the fields, so dress appropriately and bring some water to drink. An umbrella will also help shield you from the hot summer sun. Take Highway 171 south from Shreveport and turn left when it intersects Highway 5. Ferguson Road will be on your right. Additional directions can be found on the Web site. In-season hours: Mon through Sat, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sun from 1 to 5 p.m.
