Address: 1035 Rte. 134

Description: From the back tees, Dennis Pines is a tournament-caliber 7,100 yards with a slope of 127. Expect to use every club in your bag here, as the holes are a good mix of lengths. As Dennis Pines is one of the busiest Cape courses, you’ll need to reserve tee times in season: The course takes them seven days in advance, or six months in advance with prepayment. In the summer season, greens fees are $60. In the spring, fees Mon through Thurs dip to $49. Cart rentals are $17 per person per 18 holes and $12 per person per 9 holes.

City: East Dennis, MA
Category: Restaurants
Telephone: (508) 385-4010
Address: 28 Bridge St.

Description: We know of some people from just south of Boston who will make a day trip to Dennis just to have lunch at the Marshside. A stone’s throw north of the intersection of Routes 6A and 134, this is a restaurant that attracts tourists as well as locals and maintains a passionate following. The restaurant was recently completely redone, as was the nearby culvert under Bridge Street. The former makes for a more elegant dining experience and the later for an improved marsh system. For added atmosphere, ask for a table with a view of the marsh full of wildlife and Sesuit Harbor beyond. The Marshside serves lunch and dinner daily and is open year-round, so you can see the marsh during all four seasons.
