Description: Hopkinton State Park is a tremendous outdoor recreational resource for those living in the Metro West area. Hopkinton is big—there are actually 2 swimming beaches here and extensive recreational facilities including more than 300 tables and 165 or so grills—so the park is extremely popular (particularly on Sunday) for large family and group events. In season, boating enthusiasts can rent a kayak, sailboat, canoe, or even a pedal boat for a little spin around the pretty reservoir. There are also 10 miles of marked, multi-use trails through the woods that are open to hikers, bikers, equestrians, cross-country skiers, and snowmobilers. Open daily year-round.
