Description: Tougas is one of the area’s finest pick-your-own farms, offering a variety of fruit from spring through fall. Strawberry season begins in late May and continues through Father’s Day weekend; blueberry picking season begins soon after in July. During the height of the summer, the blueberry, peach, and raspberry crops typically overlap, so in one visit, you can pick all 3 fruits. In the fall, enjoy the changing of the seasons and the pleasure of eating a crisp, red apple picked fresh from the tree. The Tougas farm stand sells ice cream and cold drinks as well as a wide variety of freshly baked fruit pies, crisps, and doughnuts. You can bring your own lunch or buy sandwiches to eat at the picnic tables. Afterward the kids can visit the barn area and feed the animals (bring quarters) or play in the playground.
