Some rooms have private Jacuzzis, others have private decks or wrought-iron mini-balconies, and a number of rooms have fireplaces. An elaborate continental breakfast is served each morning. The Brass Key has a heated infinity pool as well as a large, in-ground hot tub set in a gorgeous brick-lined courtyard; you can ask for one of the rooms that opens onto the hot tub or the pool. Although the complex, with six outbuildings and a gatehouse, has frontage on three streets, it still maintains its original intimacy. The Brass Key’s new owner, Thomas Walter, has renovated parts of the Guesthouse since taking over. There is now a lounge, penthouse and cabana suites, remodeled bathrooms, and a large wooden pergola for weddings and other events.Minimum-stay requirements are in effect during the busy season. There is one wheelchair-accessible room. The inn is open year-round and accepts no children younger than 16.
