Description: Around the corner from the Bridge of Flowers, this small museum operates on tracks originally used by the Shelburne Falls and Colrain Street trolley. Admission includes a 15-minute narrated trolley ride on the restored 1896 No. 10 trolley car (for 65 years it served as a chicken coop!) and the opportunity to pump the handcar along a section of track in the rail yard. The former freight house serves as the museum’s exhibit space with an assortment of vintage equipment on display. The museum is open weekends from Memorial Day through Oct, and also Mon in July and Aug; check for hours.
