1. Brooklin Inn

City: Brooklin, ME
Category: Restaurants
Telephone: (207) 359-2777
Address: Route 175

Description: If you’re into wine you’re going to want to stop at this Victorian inn. Wine Spectator has called the line up of vino here “one of the most outstanding wine lists in the world.” Order a bottle and sit down for a menu that changes daily but might include peeky-toe crab cakes, coq au vin (naturally), sesame seared scallops, and finnan haddie with lobster. The produce tends to be organic and in season, the seafood fresh, and the poultry free-range and local. Served in a nice dining room with well-worn floors, Oriental rug, sashed windows, and French doors, it all amounts to an exceptional dining experience.

2. Morning Moon Cafe
